About

I am now a physics Ph.D. student working on ultracold atom theories. At the same time I am interested in computer science and software engineering.

Update(2021): I am now a software engineer after obtaining my physics Ph.D. degree.

Previously I had suffered from the question that whether I should continue studying physics or switch to becoming a programmer, especially considering the fact that I was only admitted into a mediocre physics Ph.D. program. But finally I am determined to get the degree and complete my childhood dream, even if I may have to leave academia after graduation.

Most of the contents on this site are about techniques, as well as physics and my daily life. The title of this site contains my net ID “lencerf” and a word “walk”, which comes from my undergraduate physics research project on quantum walk. By the way, “lencerf” is an inverse of the name of the famous French physicist Augustin-Jean Fresnel. But “lenserf” has been used by someone, so I changed “s” into “c”. It is really not paraphrased as “Lancer’s luck value is F” if you have watched Fate series before.
